Product information "Anti-Interleukin-3, -5 (IL-3, IL-5) GM-CSF Receptor beta-common"
The common beta-chain (beta-c) of the granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interleukin-3 (IL-3) and IL-5 receptors is the major signaling subunit of these receptors coupling ligand binding to multiple biological activities (1-3). Tyrosine phosphorylation of cytokine receptor common beta-chain is one of the first events in GM-CSF, IL-3 and IL-5 activation of their receptors and in the initiation of the signaling cascade (4). Serine phosphorylation within the 14-3-3 binding sequence of the common beta-chain is also involved in GM-CSF, IL-3 and IL-5 receptor-specific functions (5,6). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
