IDE belongs to a protease family responsible for intercellular peptide signalling. Though its role in the cellular processing of insulin has not yet been defined, insulin-degrading enzyme is thought to be involved in the termination of the insulin response. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Do not freeze APC conjugates. Light sensitive. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
