The Histamine H3 receptor is a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. This protein is primarily expressed in the CNS. At least 7 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing. Expression of these isoforms varies with isoform 3 and isoform 7 being highly expressed in the thalamus, caudate nucleus and cerebellum while isoforms 5 and 6 show a poor expression. Isoform 5 and isoform 6 show a high expression in the amygdala, substantia nigra, cerebral cortex and hypothalamus. Isoform 7 is not found in hypothalamus or substantia nigra. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. , Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.75ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
