The GABA-A receptor is a member of the superfamily of fast acting ligand-gated ion channels. The individual subunits of these receptors have similar sequences and structural features (3). GABA-A receptors are the major fast inhibitory neurotransmitter gated ion channels in the brain (4). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1-10ug/ml, Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml, Immunocytochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
