Anti-Cpn10 Antibody was purified by Protein A chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Cpn 10 from Human, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Canine, Guinea pig, Pig, Rabbit, Sheep, and Xenopus based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Cpn10 from other sources has not been determined. Heat Shock research. Protein function: Eukaryotic CPN10 homolog which is essential for mitochondrial protein biogenesis, together with CPN60. Binds to CPN60 in the presence of Mg-ATP and suppresses the ATPase activity of the latter. [The UniProt Consortium]
