Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCKAR) is one of two 7TM receptors for cholecystokinin peptide hormones. This GPCR is involved in gallbladder contraction, insulin secretion, and central nervous system function. CCK-A R has been implicated in pancreatic tumorigenesis as well as the pathogenesis of eating disorders and drug addiction. Human CCK-A R shares 89% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat CCKAR. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:1500-1:2500 using FITC conjugates as secondary antibodies, Incubation Time: Overnight at 2-8°C., Absorption with 10-100ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining., Opttimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Positive Control: Frozen rat pancreas sections. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
