CD14 occurs both as a secreted protein and as a GPI-linked membrane protein. It plays a critical role in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-dependent signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1-2.5 x 10e5 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from a mouse immunized with purified, CHO-derived, recombinant human CD14. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing APC conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
