CA77.1 is an inducer of chaperone-mediated autophagy (CMA). It induces the formation of autophagic lysosomes in NIH3T3 cells expressing a CMA reporter when used at concentrations of 10, 20, and 30 µM. CA77.1 (20 µM) induces autophagic flux in NIH3T3 cells.
