Product information "Anti-phospho-Synapsin I (Ser603)"
Anti-Synapsin I pS9 antibody is directed against bovine Synapsin I. The antibody detects Synapsin I that is phosphorylated at S603. The Anti-Synapsin I pS603 antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Immunolabeling of the synapsin I band is blocked by ?-phosphatase treatment. Reactivity is expected fromthe following species based on 100% sequence homology: human, Xenopus, bovine, mouse, zebra fish. Protein function: Neuronal phosphoprotein that coats synaptic vesicles, binds to the cytoskeleton, and is believed to function in the regulation of neurotransmitter release. The complex formed with NOS1 and CAPON proteins is necessary for specific nitric-oxid functions at a presynaptic level. [The UniProt Consortium]
