Anti-phospho-CD2AP (Tyr4/8/10)

Anti-CD2AP pY4-8-10 was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with human based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with CD2AP from other sources has not been determined. CD2-associated protein appears to act as an adapter protein between membrane proteins and the actin cytoskeleton. It may also be a factor in receptor clustering and cytoskeletal polarity between T-cell and antigen-presenting cell. It seems it could also anchor the podocyte slit diaphragm to the actin skeleton in renal glomerulus. It is required for cytokinesis. CD2AP is widely expressed in fetal and adult tissue, localized in the cytoplasm of cells. Anti-CD2AP pY4-8-10 Antibody is ideal for investigators interested in Signal Transduction research.
