FluoSite Anti-LRRC15 Antibody, FITC-Labeled

This anti-LRRC15 (Leucine-Rich Repeat-Containing protein 15) antibody is a purified monoclonal recombinant antibody, which is labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). This antibody has been tested by flow cytometry for binding to human LRRC15 on transfected HEK293 cells. FluoSite(TM) is a tag-based method for site-specific conjugation of antibodies with fluorophores, ensuring the labeling site is far from the antigen-binding domain to preserve antibody functionality. LRRC15 (Leucine-Rich Repeat-Containing protein 15) is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) superfamily, a group of proteins characterized by repeating structural motifs that facilitate protein-protein interactions. Within tumors, LRRC15 is most prominently found on cancer-associated fibroblasts, where it is thought to influence extracellular matrix (ECM) organization, tissue stiffness, and signaling pathways that shape immune cell infiltration and function. This protein is often overexpressed in mesenchymal-derived tumors, such as sarcoma and melanoma. New therapeutic strategies targeting this protein, such as ADCs (antibody drug conjugates), may prove beneficial in oncology.
