Antibody in PBS with 50% Glycerol, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide. This antibody reacts to human Vimentin. It may also react to mouse or rat Vimentin, as predicted by immunogen homology. Protein function: Vimentins are class-III intermediate filaments found in various non-epithelial cells, especially mesenchymal cells. Vimentin is attached to the nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, and mitochondria, either laterally or terminally. [The UniProt Consortium]
