Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide Receptor 1 (VIPR1) is a member of the Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide subfamily. Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) plays multiple roles in the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems as a neurotransmitter, a hormone, and a cytokine. VIPR1, a receptor for VIP, has been shown to expressed widely in normal tissues and is the predominant receptor subtype for VIP in cancers. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:200-1:2000, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 10ug/ml , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
