Product information "Anti-TRPC7"
0.5mg/ml if reconstituted with 0.2ml sterile DI water. Transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily C, member 7, also known as TRP7, is a human gene encoding a protein named TRPC7. It is the most abundantly expressed long TRPC in peripheral blood and in some blood cell lines. TRPC7 is a calcium-permeable cation channel that is regulated by free intracellular ADP-ribose. It is activated by oxidative stress and confers susceptibility to cell death. Protein function: Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. Activated by diacylglycerol (DAG). May also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion. [The UniProt Consortium]
