Anti-Transforming Growth factor beta-1 (TGFB1) (FITC)

Multifunctional protein that control proliferation, differentiation, and other functions in many cell types. Many cells synthesize TGFB1 and essentially all of them have specific receptors for this protein. It regulates the actions of many other growth factors and determines a positive or negative direction of their effects. It plays an important role in bone remodeling. It is a potent stimulator of osteoblastic bone formation, causing chemotaxis, proliferation and differentiation in committed osteoblasts (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. , Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
