The TRAF (tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor) family of proteins associate with and... more
Product information "Anti-TRAF Interacting Protein TANK (TANK, I TRAF, ITRAF, I-TRAF, TRAF Family Member-associated NF ka"
The TRAF (tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor) family of proteins associate with and transduce signals from members of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily. TANK:I-TRAF (TRAF family member associated NF-kB activator:TRAF-interacting protein) that was first defined as a novel TRAF-interacting protein that regulates TRAF-mediated signal transduction (reviewed in Bonif, 2006). TANK:I-TRAF is thought to inhibit TRAF function by sequestering the TRAFs in the cytoplasm, thereby blocking their recruitment to the TNFR. TANK:I-TRAF has also been shown to bind to other proteins in the NF-kB signaling pathway, including NEMO. However, the role and different functions of TANK:I-TRAF in NF-kB signaling pathways remains to be fully elucidated. Recognizes TANK:I-TRAF, human TANK:I-TRAF is a 425aa protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000, Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:1000-1:5000, Immunoprecipitation: 1:50-1:200, Immunohistochemistry: Frozen, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Lymphatic tissues, many cancer cell lines, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
