Product information "Anti-TNF alpha-induced Protein 3 (A20, TNFAIP3, OTUD7C, TNFA1P2)"
A20, also called TNF alphainduced protein 3 (TNFAIP3), is a cytoplasmic zinc finger protein that inhibits NF kappa B activity and tumor necrosis factormediated programmed cell death. The protein interacts with NAF1 and inhibits TNFinduced NF kappa Bdependent gene expression by interfering with RIP or TRAF2mediated transactivation signaling. A20 contains an Nterminal domain which has deubiquitinating enzyme activity and removes ubiquitin chains from receptorinteracting protein (RIP), thus mediating distinct regulatory effects in the downregulation of NF kappa B signaling. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 825ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
