Protein function: In vitro catalyzes the heme-based conversion of peroxynitrite into nitrate/NO3-. May be involved in the detoxification of peroxynitrite which is responsible for the nitration of L-free tyrosine (PubMed:30524950). Also selectively binds nitric oxide/NO in vitro (PubMed:30524950). [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 93% and to rat: 93%
