Anti-TGFBR2 (Transforming Growth Factor beta, TGF-beta RII) (APC)

Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta) is a pleiotropic growth factor whose amino acid sequence is highly conserved. Mature TGF-beta is usually present as a disulfide-linked dimer with 112 amino acids per subunit, which mediates its action by interacting with cell surface receptors. Three primary TGF-beta receptors have been described: TGF-beta receptor type I (53kD), type II (70-85kD), and type III (250-350kD), although other molecules such as Activin and Inhibin receptors that also bind to TGF-beta family members have been described.3,4 Most cells appear to express TGF-beta receptors, but the density and types of receptors largely depend on the growth conditions, differentiation status, and the presence of other growth factors. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels10e6 cells. Using NS0 mouse myeloma cell line transfected with TGFBR2., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
