Rabbit Polyclonal TARS1 Antibody against Human threonyl-tRNA synthetase 1. Validated for Western Blot. Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Interspecies information: Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: ENSMUSG00000022241: 82%, ENSRNOG00000019023: 85%. Protein function: Catalyzes the attachment of threonine to tRNA(Thr) in a two- step reaction: threonine is first activated by ATP to form Thr-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of tRNA(Thr) (PubMed:25824639, PubMed:31374204). Also edits incorrectly charged tRNA(Thr) via its editing domain, at the post-transfer stage. [The UniProt Consortium]
