Anti-TAF3, CT (TAF3, Transcription initiation factor TFIID subunit 3, 140kD TATA box-binding protein

The highly conserved RNA polymerase II transcription factor TFIID (see TAF1, MIM 313650) comprises the TATA box-binding protein (TBP, MIM 600075) and a set of TBP-associated factors (TAFs), including TAF3. TAFs contribute to promoter recognition and selectivity and act as antiapoptotic factors (Gangloff et al., 2001 [PubMed 11438666]). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
