Protein function: Lacks formylglycine generating activity and is unable to convert newly synthesized inactive sulfatases to their active form. Inhibits the activation of sulfatases by SUMF1. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 76% and to rat: 77%
