Synovial sarcoma, X breakpoint 2 (SSX2) proteins may act as repressors of transcription. Chromosomal translocations involving SSX2 have been implicated in synovial sarcoma. SSX2 is expressed at high levels in testis and at low levels in thyroid. At least 2 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing. SSX2 isoform 2 is the longer form of this protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. , Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
