Anti-Rictor (Rapamycin Insensitive Companion of mTOR, Rapamycin-insensitive Companion of mTOR, RICTR

Rictor, the rapamycin-insensitive complex, is part of the mTORC2 kinase complex which is responsible for phosphorylating the hydrophobic motif kinase of Akt/PKB. This complex also includes mTOR, mSin1 and mLST8/G?L. mTORC2 is activated by growth factors and other mitogenic signals. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation., Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml detects Rictor on 10ug of HEK293 cell lysates, Immunoprecipitation: 1ug/ml detects Rictor from 100ug of HEK293 cell lysates, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HEK293 cell lysate. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
