Product information "Anti-Recombinant LTA4H, clone A288"
Leukotriene A4 hydrolase, also known as LTA4H is a human gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a bifunctional enzyme which converts leukotriene A4 to leukotriene B4 and acts as an aminopeptidase. It acts as an epoxide hydrolase to catalyze the conversion of LTA4 to the proinflammatory mediator leukotriene B4 (LTB4). And it has aminopeptidase activity, with high affinity for N-terminal arginines of various synthetic tripeptides.
