Product information "Anti-Raptor (Regulatory-associated Protein of mTOR, Raptor, P150 Target of Rapamycin (TOR)-scaffold"
Regulatory associated protein of mTOR (RAPTOR) is a binding partner of target of rapamycin (TOR). It binds to 4EBP1 and p70alpha. The binding of raptor to mTOR is essential for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 in vitro. It enhances the mTOR kinase activity toward p70alpha. It is also an essential scaffold for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 and mediates TOR action in vivo. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human 293 or mouse NIH 3T3 tumor cell line, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
