Anti-RAP2A (RAP2A Member of RAS Oncogene Family, Ras-related Protein Rap-2a, RAP2, KREV, K-REV, RbBP

RAP2A is a signaling protein involved in small GTPase mediated signal transduction activated by guanine nucleotide-exchange factors (GEF) EPAC and EPAC2, in a cAMP-dependent manner, and GFR. This membrane protein belongs to the small GTPase superfamily and Ras family and contains domains required for GTP binding and a Ras-like C-terminal motif for post-translational lipid binding and subsequent anchoring to the plasma membrane. Apart from having a possible role in membrane shedding, RAP2A also functions as a slowly responding molecular switch in the RAP1A signaling cascade and also interacts with ARHGAP29, the putative specific effector of RAP2A. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: MCF7 cell lysate, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
