Anti-RalB (Ras-related Protein)

The Ras-like proteins RalA and RalB share 85% identity and constitute a grouping within the Ras superfamily of small GTPases. Like other GTPases, Ral proteins transduce signals by cycling between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state. Ral functions as an effector of Ras-mediated signaling, and has been implicated in the regulation of vesicle trafficking and cell morphology. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma cells with rat B cells. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
