Anti-Rabphilin 3A antibody is directed against rat rabphilin 3A proteins. Anti-Rabphilin 3A antibodies are affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Cross reactivity with Rab 3A from other species has not been determined, however, the sequence of the immunogen shows 100% identity to mouse, human, bovine, canine, and non-human primates, therefore, cross reactivity is expected. Protein function: Protein transport. Probably involved with Ras-related protein Rab-3A in synaptic vesicle traffic and/or synaptic vesicle fusion. Could play a role in neurotransmitter release by regulating membrane flow in the nerve terminal. [The UniProt Consortium]
