Anti-PROM2 (Prominin-2, PROM-2, Prominin-like Protein 2, hPROML2, PROML2, UNQ2521/PRO6014)

Prominin 2 belongs to the Prominin family of pentaspan membrane glycoproteins and so contains five transmembrane segments and two large glycosylated extracellular loops. Expression studies in CHO cells showed that prominin 2 was associated with plasma membrane protrusions similar to prominin 1. Prominin 2 is highly expressed in kidney, throughout the digestive tract and in other epithelial tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 15-20ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
