Anti-PIM2, CT (PIM2, Serine/threonine-protein kinase pim-2, Pim-2h)

Pim proteins (Pim-1, Pim-2 and Pim-3) are oncogene-encoded serine/threonine kinases. Pim-2 is highly homologous to Pim-1 with similar oncogenic functions. Pim-2 overexpression promotes resistance to a host of apoptotic stimuli, its expression is negatively regulated by growth factor depletion. Increased levels of Pim-2 has also been observed in certain cancers. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000, Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100, Immunoprecipitation: 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
