Binds to nascent polypeptide chain and promotes folding in an environment in which there are many competing pathways for nonnative proteins. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 98% and to rat: 96%
