0.5 mg/ml with 0.1 mg/ml BSA (US sourced), 0.05% sodium azide. PACS proteins are involved in the localization of trans-Golgi network (TGN) membrane proteins that contain acidic cluster sorting motifs. PACS-1, or Phosphofurin acidic cluster sorting protein 1, is involved in protein sorting and ion channel trafficking. It directs the trans-Golgi network (TGN) localization of furin and M6PR (Mannose 6-phosphate receptor). PACS-1 also mediates the binding of VAMP4, a TGN-to-endosome transport protein, to AP-1. Protein function: Coat protein that is involved in the localization of trans-Golgi network (TGN) membrane proteins that contain acidic cluster sorting motifs. Controls the endosome-to-Golgi trafficking of furin and mannose-6-phosphate receptor by connecting the acidic-cluster-containing cytoplasmic domain of these molecules with the adapter-protein complex-1 (AP-1) of endosomal clathrin- coated membrane pits.
