Anti-OVOL1, NT (OVOL1, Putative transcription factor Ovo-like 1)

This gene encodes a protein highly similar to Drosophila and mouse proteins. In Drosophila the ovo protein plays a critical role in Drosophila oogenesis and cuticle formation. In mice the ovo like protein is involved in hair formation and spermatogenesis. The function of the human gene product has not been determined. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
