Protein function: Inhibits angiogenesis in the vitreous humor of the eye, and therefore represses neovascularization. Binds collagen fibrils. May be involved in collagen fiber organization via regulation of other members of the small leucine-rich repeat proteoglycan superfamily. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 84% and to rat: 86%
