Anti-NHE3 (Na, H Exchanger Isoform), clone 2Q2263

Na+/H+ exchangers are composed of a hydrophilic carboxy terminal domain and a hydrophobic, membrane spanning amino terminal domain. Functional studies indicate that it is the amino terminal domain which is responsible for the transmembrane exchange of sodium and hydrogen ions and that this activity is regulated by the interaction of cytosolic proteins with the hydrophilic carboxy terminal region. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: Detects band of 80kD (rabbit) and ~83kD (rat)., Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): Rat PLP or paraformaldehyde fixed tissue., Immunoprecipitation: Non-ionic detergent, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
