Anti-NgCAM Related Neuronal Cell Adhesion Molecule (NrCAM, Bravo)

NgCAM related Cell Adhesion Molecule (NrCAM), also known as Bravo, belongs to the L1 family of transmembrane cell adhesion molecules. NgCAM interacts homotypically as well as heterotypically with contactin, TAG-1/contactin-2, neurofascin, and receptor tyrosine phosphatase beta (RPTP beta). NgCAM is involved in axon growth and guidance in sensory neruons and commissural axons of chick spinal cord. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: capture antibody , Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml (Not recommended for reducing conditions)., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile PBS, 40-50% glycerol. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
