Anti-Neurofilament Light (NF-L, NF68, NEFL, Neurofilament light polypeptide, NFL)

Neurofilaments are composed of three intermediate filament proteins: light (68kD), medium (160kD) and heavy (200kD), which are involved in the maintenance of the neuronal caliber. Neurofilament light (NF68 or NF-L) is the most abundant of the three proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (formalin, paraffin, acetone): 2.0-4.0ug/ml , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS to concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
