Anti-Nanog (ENK, Nanog Homeobox, Early Embryo Specific Expression NK Family Gene)

The transcriptional factor Nanog functions in maintaining pluripotency in cooperation with other key genes such as Oct4. Oct4 and Sox2 bind to the Nanog promoter in mouse and human embryonic stem cell. Nanog levels allow stem cells to balance the creation of lineage-committed and undifferentiated cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
