Anti-NAALADL2 (NAALADase-like 2, N-acetylated alpha-linked Acidic Dipeptidase like 2)

NAALADL2 (N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase like 2) is a member of the peptidase M28 family of enzymes. It is presumably a type II transmembrane (TM) protein that may have O­glycosyl hydrolase activity. Human NAALADL2 is 795 amino acids (aa) in length. It is believed to contain a cytoplasmic and TM segment at the N-terminus, followed by a peptidase domain (aa444-596) and a TfR­like dimerization region (aa688-777). There are multiple splice forms. One shows a 4aa substitution for aa292­795, a second shows an alternate start site at Met18 with a 24aa substitution for aa 314-795, and a third contains an alternate start site at Met283, accompanied by a deletion of aa363-411 and 633-795. Over aa152-795, human NAALADL2 shares 87% and 82% aa sequence identity with mouse and canine NAALADL2, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
