Anti-MS4A4A (4SPAN1, CD20L1, CD20-like 1, MS4A4, MS4A7)

MS4A4A, also called CD20-like 1, is a 23kD (predicted) member of the MS4A family of four-transmembrane proteins that includes CD20 (MS4A1) and Fce RIb (MS4A2). MS4A4 cDNA is detected in hematopoietic cell lines, with highest expression in myeloid and B cell lines. Expressed sequence tags are detected in multiple organs and tissues. Human MS4A4A shares ~60% amino acid sequence identity with mouse and rat MS4A4A, if sequence gaps at the cytoplasmic N and C termini are disregarded. One potential isoform lacks aa130-182, which includes the 3rd transmembrane segment and the first of two extracellular regions. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ul/10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
