Product information "Anti-MAP Kinase 1 (Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase 1, MAPK 1, Mapk1, Mapk, Extracellular Signal-reg"
Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) are reported to be critical regulatory factors for the growth andmigration of various cell types including vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). It has also been reported that the activation of the MAP kinase family, extracellular signal regulated kinases 1/2 (ERK1/2), and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) via Src activation is important for AII-induced migration of VSMCs. MAPKs are intracellular signal-transduction pathways that have been shown to play a central role in the development of injury following ischemia in the brain and heart. MAPKs regulate gene expression, which is important in cell injury/repair and proliferation/differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:500, Western Blot: 1:500-1:3000, Immunofluorescence: 1:500-1:3000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. , Hybridoma: FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
