The mouse mannose receptor is a 175kD type 1 membrane protein that is also known as CD206. CD206 is expressed on most tissue macrophages, in vitro derived dendritic cells, lymphatic and sinusoidal endothelia. This clone has been reported to be non-inhibitory for the binding of the mannose receptor to carbohydrate ligands. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: Neat, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul., CD206 is expressed weakly at the cell surface. Staining may be increased following membrane permeabilization., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized Fischer rats were fused with cells of the Y3 myeloma cell line. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-82H1: IgG2a, Rat Negative Control (PE), Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
