Anti-Macrophage, Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 (MCP1, CCL2, JE)

The chemokine MCP-1 is expressed by a range of cells including monocytes, vascular endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, glomerular mesangial cells and osteoblasts. MCP-1, also known as CCL2 and JE, is thought to play an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 0.5ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml, Neutralization: 4-6ug/ml , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1903-30U: IgG, H&L, X-adsorbed (HRP) ShxRb, I1904-40P: IgG, Fc, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb, Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
