Anti-LYVE-1 (Lymphatic Vessel Endothelial Hyaluronic Acid Receptor)

LYVE-1, also named extracellular link domain containing 1, is a 60-70kD type I transmembrane protein that functions as a receptor for both soluble and immobilized hyaluronan (HA). It shares 41% aa sequence homology with CD44, another known receptor for HA. LYVE-1 expression is mostly restricted to lymphatic vessels. LYVE-1 is a useful molecular marker for lymphatic endothelial cells. Applications: Suitable for use in direct ELISA and Blocking of receptor-ligand interaction. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml, Blocking of receptor-ligand interaction: 0.04-0.2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: <0.1EU/ug (LAL) , Storage and Stability:, Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
