Anti-Liver Antigen (Hepatocytes/Hepatocarcinomas)

Cell preparations of hepatocellular carcinoma biopsies and cell lines are found to bind EP-2 on the cell surface. Monoclonal antibodies to liver cell processes are useful in the identification of hepatic carcinomas and normal organ structures. Two monoclonal antibodies to different liver substructures are offered which bind to subsets of hepatic carcinomas. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: Use with paraformaldehyde or acetone fixed cell preparations., Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): Strongly stains liver hepatocytes. Stains the cytoplasm of hepatic cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Liver, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
