Product information "Anti-LAG-3 (Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3, FDC Protein, CD223) (APC)"
LAG-3, also known as CD223, is a type I membrane protein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily (IGSF). The extracellular domain of LAG-3 contains a V-set and three C2-set Ig domains. LAG-3 is expressed on activated T cells, NK cells and B cells. It binds to MHC class II molecules with much higher avidity than CD4, a LAG-3 structural homolog. Mouse and human LAG-3 have been shown to be negative regulators of T cell function and homeostasis. The extracellular domain of human and mouse LAG-3 share 69% aa sequence identity. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) treated with PHA, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
