This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel-like family of transcription factors. The gene exhibits imprinted expression from the maternal allele in embryonic and extra-embryonic tissues. Expression of this gene is induced by TGF-beta, and the protein represses TGF-beta receptor II expression. The protein functions as part of a transcriptional co-repressor complex that also contains the transcriptional regulator SIN3A and histone deacetylase 2. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
