Anti-KChlP3 K channel Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with KChlP3 K channel from Mouse, Human, and Rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. No cross reactivity against KCIPs 1,2 or 4. Cross-reactivity with KChlP3 K channel from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research. Protein function: Calcium-dependent transcriptional repressor that binds to the DRE element of genes including PDYN and FOS. Affinity for DNA is reduced upon binding to calcium and enhanced by binding to magnesium. Seems to be involved in nociception. [The UniProt Consortium]
