Anti-ISL1 (Insulin Gene Enhancer Protein ISL-1, Islet-1)

ISL1 encodes islet 1, a transcription factor containing two amino-terminal LIM domains and one carboxy-terminal homeodomain. ISL1 plays an important role in the embryogenesis of pancreatic islets of Langerhans. In addition, mouse embryos made deficient in ISL1 fail to undergo neural tube motor neuron differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:10,000, Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000, Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000, Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:200 Required Hier using sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
